Because Nazareth was a secluded ,insignificant village . and also Nathanael may have been surprise that Philip would claim that a man from the neighborhood city of nazareth in Galilee to be the promised messiah.

• Because Nazareth is a small town then that it is known for common and poor people to lived there. So the town is not a popular town that anyone has looked up to or is looking up to in any areas of life then.
