Videotron’s Fizz Mobile kicked off early Black Friday deals with some special offers focused on Pixel phones and more.

Fizz’s website now has a dedicated ‘Black Friday’ page highlighting various offers. First up, Fizz highlights its $40/80GB plan with unlimited minutes, texts, and voicemail. However, it’s worth noting that this is the same price as before and isn’t actually a new deal.

We covered Fizz’s new prices and the addition of a 100GB data bucket earlier this week, but notably, the 80GB bucket didn’t see a price change at the time, and it’s still the same price now.

Fizz also highlights a deal on the Pixel 9 that actually looks somewhat decent. Customers can buy a Pixel 9 with Fizz and get that $40/80GB plan for 80 percent off, making it just $8/mo. The Pixel itself is not on sale and customers can either buy it outright for $1,290 (nearly $200 more than what it costs to buy from Google) or finance for $53.75/mo ($1,290 over two years). Those who finance will be looking at a total cost of $61.75/mo with the plan factored in.

The 80 percent plan savings is available with the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL as well. The Pixel 8a only offers a 65 percent plan discount, and Fizz offers a 40 percent plan discount when customers buy refurbished phones.

Finally, Fizz’s last Black Friday offer so far is increasing the referral code bonus. For a limited time, the $25 bonus is boosted to $35.

Overall, Fizz’s Black Friday offers are a bit disappointing, with no notable plan discounts. The Pixel 9 offer is the only one that’s somewhat intriguing if you’re okay paying a higher price for the phone than you would elsewhere.

You can check out Fizz’s offers via PlanHub or on the Fizz website.
