As you’re probably well aware at this point, DOOM: The Dark Ages is now completely playable with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – and has been for a few days as id Software unleashes its latest epic to XGP players.

We’ve had very good fun with this one already – in fact, we deemed it a fantastic follow-up to id’s other recent DOOM games and a 9/10 overall. The Dark Ages may strip some things back from 2020’s DOOM Eternal, but it’s still a fantastic romp through medieval hell.

Enough about what we think though, we’ve come here today to ask you folks how you’re feeling about DOOM: The Dark Ages now you’ve had chance to get stuck into it. Is it the best of the modern DOOM games, you reckon? It’s certainly a different experience overall coming from Bethesda’s premiere FPS studio.

The game’s shaping up pretty well on both Xbox consoles as well, which is another thing we’ve come to expect from id Software. Xbox Series X or Series S – you’ll be well taken care of playing DOOM: The Dark Ages on Xbox Game Pass!

How are you finding The Dark Ages so far? Come tell us in the poll below and chat more about it in the comments section.

When he’s not clutching an Xbox controller like his life depends on it, Ben spends his time listening to music that’s far too old for him, watching football on the telly and probably eating somewhere.
