We know that philosophy deals with reflection, people reflect on their experiences the draw their conclusion. Philosophy here needs reflection(critical thinking), to make it philosophy. Now, what is concluded from reflection is transmitted and preserved mostly by writing. My question is: in a geographical location, where the art of writing, does not exist, does it mean they are no thinkers, or that the people there have no philosophy?.

Yes when there is no act of writing that means there’s no thinkers too
