Less of starch but more of vitamin and mineral food. Protein too is good for them and if they can take cola nut or bitter kola it give them anti aging and suppress some disease
You should eat plenty of foods rich in starch and fibre. Starchy foods such as bread, rice, potatoes and pasta are a good source of energy for the old to keep them
Vitamins and minerals as well
Well the best foods is as follows
Fruits and vegetables (choose different types with bright colors)
Whole grains, like oatmeal, whole-wheat bread, and brown rice.
Fat-free or low-fat milk and cheese, or soy or rice milk that has added vitamin D and calcium.
Seafood, lean meats, poultry, and eggs.
Beans, nuts, and seeds
