Fixed account does not have a static interest rate. it also depends on terms and conditions, so we can’t say outrightly which bank pay better as it also depends on your ability to bargain correctly.
This makes a lot of sense..thanks very much for the answer and hopefully its useful to the user who asked the question
Fixed deposit differ with banks buh even with the same bank, two people can be offered different rate!! It’s more of your bargaining power. I can be offered 1.5% per annum but a prof offered 2.5% with the same bank.
But banks differs as well I think Fidelity Bank currently offers the highest interest rates for savings deposit accounts (target) in Nigeria 3.1% or so..
If you are interested in the rated then go with some of this microfinance bank just like opay they offer up to 18% which is mouth watering 😂
Thanks for the response… But 18% sounds too much….is it month or the 18% will paid during the agreed duration?
Gtbank or first bank will be the best option for you
First Bank
I would probably go for united bank of Africa when it comes to that and when it comes to micro financed banks there are lot of them
First bank of Nigeria should get the credit
The only best bank I know for now is U.B.A
First bank
Access bank
Opay
UBA bank
I think it should be UBA
