Why is it that people always find it difficult to sleep in the afternoon. We always finds it difficult to sleep in the afternoon even when we force ourselves to do so. Can somebody please tell me why we finds it difficult to sleep in the afternoon🌞.

I read some where its called “insomnia” and they vary differently.. Many adults don’t nap voluntarily or intentionally, but often fall asleep when not busy or watching Tv
Your sleeping environment is a big factor here
It is easier with a restful environment. Nap in a quiet, dark place with a comfortable room temperature and few distractions makes one fall asleep easily even in the afternoon.
Most times people don’t even have the time in the afternoon to take a nap due to busy schedule which makes the night sleep the only alternative for them.
Firstly sleep happens naturally and the brain feels dizzy when the mind is at rest. One finds it difficult to sleep in the afternoon maybe because you have a lot to do or the mind is stressed with worries.
That can be due to several reasons, chiefly, anxiety. Sometimes, a lack of activity that is tedious enough to wear out your body, as you know exhaustion is one way to fall asleep. Also, insomnia can be another reason, now this is a health condition caused by depression, lack of exercise, poor sleeping habits or chronic illness.
It is not everyone that can sleep in theafternoon
Because you have lot of things on your mind
Dopamine release, to brain
The human body responds to light and that’s why sleep is more comfortable at night unless your body is tired and needs an afternoon nap
U don’t sleep at afternoon it depends on ur environment . When in noisy environment u can’t sleep . So check and balance ur environment first and foremost
It doesn’t apply to everyone. It depends generally on one’s up bringing and body system. There are lots of people that don’t find it difficult to sleep in the afternoon especially me, except if I just don’t want to.
