I have singled out timo Werner Cesar azpilicueta, for blame the duo of Werner and, Cesar Azpilicueta were faulty following Chelsea’s disappointing draw against wolverhampton wanderers. Wolves came from two goals down to snatch a surprising point at Chelsea as Conor Coady’s 97th-minute header secured a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in front of the new Chelsea owner.
Romelu Lukaku scored a second-half brace, but the visitors fought back to draw the game with goals from Francisco Trincao and Conor Coady.
Here are the three players to blame for Chelsea’s inability to take all three points against Wolves despite being two goals up.
TIMO WERNER
The sharpest of Chelsea’s forwards for a lot of the match. twice forcing Sa to make good saves. Got in good positions to hurt Wolves but was guilty of being selfish in front of goal.
CESAR AZPILICUETA
His form has suffered pretty much since his contract extension issues. He looked way off it, as he did against Everton last weekend. Looks as if he is playing with too much emotion at the moment . the Chelsea captain recently agreed a deal with Barcelona. maybe he has his mind on his future.
The blues are now one point away from dropping to fourth after Arsenal’s 2-1 win against leads
