Xiaomi launches new smart Constant Temperature Kettle 3 Pro

It has a 2.0L capacity, an integrated display on the base and various smart features. These include incrementally adjustable heating temperature and a 24-hour insulation mode.

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Constant Temperature Kettle 3 Pro in China. This smart kitchen appliance has a slightly larger than average 2.0 L capacity, which should allow you to boil enough water to make eight to ten drinks at a time.

The Mijia Constant Temperature Kettle 3 Pro is white with silver colored accents and base. It is said to offer 1,800W heating power from its base for rapid boiling. There are four preset modes for ease of use: 45°C (113°F), 60°C (140°F), 70°C (158°F) and 85°C (185°C). Plus, through the Mijia app, users can adjust the temperature in one degree Celsius increments from 40 to 90°C (113 to 194°F).

The selected heating temperature is shown on a digital display on one side of the Mijia Constant Temperature Kettle 3 Pro. Another feature is 24-hour insulation, which can be triggered via the Xiaomi app. While the kettle is described as lightweight, Xiaomi has not provided its exact weight.

In China, the Xiaomi Mijia Constant Temperature Kettle 3 Pro will retail for CNY 249 (~$35). It remains to be seen whether or when this smart home product could be released in other markets like Europe, where you can already buy the Xiaomi Smart Kettle 2 Pro (curr. $54.98 at Amazon.de).
