Following the release of a video allegedly showing musician 2Baba (Tuface Idibia) in handcuffs, media personality Daddy Freeze hosted an Instagram Live session to unpack the incident with the singer’s former managers, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan. The discussion took a dramatic turn when 2Baba himself unexpectedly joined the live stream, creating a tense and chaotic confrontation.

The conversation was intended to shed light on a video, published by blogger Tosin Silverdam on December 1, which appeared to show 2Baba being detained by London police. The incident originally occurred on October 2 during his concert tour, but the new footage reignited public curiosity. As Igbokwe and Tosan shared their firsthand accounts of the events leading up to the alleged arrest, 2Baba suddenly entered the live chat.

His presence immediately shifted the atmosphere. “You need to shut the fuck up,” 2Baba said, directly addressing his former associates. In the background, his wife Natasha could be heard calling out, first to “Daddy Freeze,” and then to her husband by his given name, “Innocent.” The situation escalated quickly, with 2Baba audibly frustrated, saying, “See wetin you dey do now.”

The audio, though muffled, captured the escalating tension. The video feed became shaky as 2Baba was heard asking, “What is your problem?” suggesting a possible physical struggle was taking place off-camera. While much of the exchange was lost to poor audio quality, the gist of the marital and professional turmoil was clear to viewers.

The original incident discussed on the live stream stemmed from 2Baba’s absence from a London show in October, which he had attributed to a medical emergency. However, Silverdam’s video supported long-standing rumors of an arrest. During the live session, both Igbokwe and Tosan confirmed the video’s authenticity and claimed the trouble had started even before the team left Nigeria, alleging that Natasha had confronted 2Baba at the airport in Lagos.

What began as an attempt to clarify past events spiraled into a live, public spectacle. 2Baba’s raw interruption transformed a discussion about his past into a real-time display of his current frustrations, pulling his personal and marital issues directly into the spotlight.
