KBS2’s upcoming drama “KICKKICKKICKKICK” has revealed a few key reasons why viewers should get excited for its premiere!
“KICKKICKKICKKICK” is a comedy that follows Ji Jin Hee (played by Ji Jin Hee), a washed-up actor, and Jo Young Sik (Lee Kyu Hyung), a once-successful variety show producer, as they establish a new content production company.
Here are three reasons to anticipate the drama’s premiere:
The chemistry between Ji Jin Hee and Lee Kyu Hyung
“KICKKICKKICKKICK” has been drawing attention for its casting of Ji Jin Hee and Lee Kyu Hyung, who are both known for their strong screen presence. As the two actors deliver dynamic comedic performances, their on-screen chemistry will be a major highlight of the show.
The drama also boasts a strong supporting cast, including Baek Ji Won, Lee Min Jae, Jeon Hye Yeon, Jeong Han Seol, Kim Eun Ho, Jeon So Young, and Baek Sun Ho. With a mix of seasoned actors and rising stars, viewers can look forward to an exciting synergy between the cast members.
The comeback story of two former stars
In the drama, Ji Jin Hee and Jo Young Sik once enjoyed immense popularity as the nation’s favorite entertainment duo. However, their golden era was short-lived. After a sudden fallout that left deep scars, they went their separate ways and gradually faded from the public’s memory.
A decade later, they reunite and establish KICKKICKKICKKICK Company, determined to reclaim their former glory in the booming content creation industry. With their constant bickering yet undeniable chemistry, all eyes are on whether they can make a powerful comeback.
The chaotic chemistry between the two bosses and their employees
Joining Ji Jin Hee and Jo Young Sik in their quest to reclaim their past glory is a group of eccentric employees, including a suspicious in-house therapist, a passionate MZ generation employee, a 19+ romance fantasy writer, a troublemaker, a free spirit, and a singer-songwriter—each with their own quirks and motivations.
The clash between the two former big-shot bosses and their employees—who couldn’t care less about their employers’ past fame—promises plenty of laughter and unpredictable moments.
“KICKKICKKICKKICK” premieres on February 5 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
