There were memorable moments aplenty during the 2025 Golden Globes, but not all were caught by cameras during the CBS telecast. From sweet moments shared by Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner to Zendaya’s Euphoria reunion (and engagement rumors), The Hollywood Reporter happened to catch the night’s other big moments from behind the scenes. Here are some that weren’t on TV.

Say “Cheese,” Timothée Chalamet

Yes, CBS cameras definitely captured A Complete Unknown star Timothée Chalamet at his table sitting next to his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. But what was not seen on the official broadcast was a couple of sweet couple-y moments that turned up on X. At one point, Jenner, who has 395 million followers on Instagram, pulled out a real camera to snap a candid photo of her beau while Elle Fanning looked on. In another moment, she snuck a kiss.

Last Minute Touch-Ups for ‘Babygirl’

Moments before the telecast went live, a THR staffer tried to make a quick pit stop at the women’s restroom in an effort not to miss any of the onstage action only to find it locked. The reason given at the door? Nicole Kidman was inside receiving “last minute touch-ups.” Not that she needed it. The Babygirl nominee looked picture perfect on the red carpet in a shimmering silver look by Balenciaga. No word on who was with Kidman inside the loo, but we did get details on her hair. Celebrity stylist Adir Abergel used Bellami’s silk seam clip-ins in shades vanilla latte and golden hour to create the retro updo.

Zendaya Hangs With Pals, Sparks Engagement Rumors

The Challengers star celebrated a nomination for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture musical or comedy. Making her first showing at the Globes since 2016, Zendaya had quite the night as she was seen catching up with pals like Colman Domingo (her Euphoria co-star), Ayo Edebiri and even Adam Sandler. Before her category was announced, she even made time for a costume change by slipping out of the custom Louis Vuitton gown she wore on the red carpet and into an embroidered number. Zendaya also went viral for another accessory she picked for the big show: a diamond sparkler worn on her engagement finger. THR has reached out to a rep for the Emmy winner to see if it means that she and Tom Holland are headed down the aisle, and will report back if there’s any news to share. But in the meantime, Max, home to Zendaya’s Euphoria, seemingly confirmed the good news with an Instagram post that featured the ring and a caption, “I have never, ever been happier.” Same here.

A First for a Hollywood Award Show? Live Leader Board

Guests inside the International Ballroom got a view of something that journalists typically receive via press release after the big show: A tally of studio wins. Under the title “Globes Leaders,” the screen captured by THR’s Scott Feinberg showed Netflix in the lead thanks to wins by Emilia Pérez, Baby Reindeer and Ali Wong’s stand-up special, among others, followed closely by FX/Hulu for Shogun. While such a screen may seem at home in a sports venue, the leader board is a first for a Hollywood award show.

Following an emotional speech for his best actor win, Adrien Brody reunited with the parents he shouted out from the stage. Together, the three watched as his A24 epic The Brutalist was announced as best picture drama. Brody let go of his mother’s hand to hug his father before making his way to the stage with Brady Corbet and the rest of the Brutalist team.

Tilda Swinton Gets on Her Feet for Fernanda Torres

While many pundits had the best actress in a motion picture drama race narrowed down to Angelina Jolie or Nicole Kidman, I’m Still Here star Fernanda Torres triumphed for her role in the Walter Salles-directed drama. The win led the Sony Pictures Classics table to erupt with applause, and as a THR staffer noted, fellow nominee Tilda Swinton also jumped on her feet to greet Torres’ win with a standing ovation.

Ask any star and most will tell you that one of the best parts about being in the building during the Golden Globes is the chance to catch up with friends, colleagues and peers. Well, that and taking home some new hardware. Before the show, fellow stand-up comedy special nominees Adam Sandler and Seth Meyers spent some time hanging out and yukking it up while Benny Safdie looked on.

Rubber chicken dinners are a thing of the past at the Golden Globes. The “party of the year” leveled up its menu in a major way thanks to chef Nobu Matsuhisa. He curated the Globes menu with A-list favorites from his Nobu restaurant. This year’s menu featured yellowtail jalapeño, Nobu caviar tacos, sashimi salad with Matsuhisa dressing, Tai Matsuhisa-style nigiri, salmon nigiri, tuna nagiri and miso black cod.
