Jo Yu Ri’s agency is taking strong legal action against malicious commenters.

On February 13, Jo Yu Ri’s agency WAKEONE released the following statement:

Hello, this is WAKEONE.

We would like to provide an update on our efforts to protect our artist’s rights.

We are deeply aware of the ongoing spread of malicious defamation, slander, personal attacks, and false information targeting Jo Yu Ri across online platforms and social media. In response, we are taking a firm stance against such actions.

To that end, we are actively monitoring major domestic and international platforms, including YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and various online communities. We are actively collecting evidence to pursue all necessary legal measures against any unlawful activities that harm our artist’s reputation and safety.

We’d like to make it clear that we will take all possible legal actions without leniency against those responsible for these violations.
