Former Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has revealed that her own party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), demolished the site of a transport company her father owned in Accra.
Speaking in an interview on Okay 101.7Fm in Accra, she revealed that her father, Apostle Ing Dr Kwadwo Safo, head of the Kristo Asafo church, owned a transport company known as Imperial Express with its premises located near Agbogbloshie in Central Accra.
Safo said the land the company’s premises was located on was government land which had been leased to her father’s company.
She said that during the period she appeared to be having some issues with other members of her own party, she and her father woke up one day to discover that the transport company premises had been demolished by a governmental task force.
Safo said they received no notice of the demolition, meaning they could not even evacuate their valuables such as vehicles from the place. They simply heard it had been demolished.
The former Gender Minister revealed she kept all these trials and tribulations against her and her father under wraps but feels now is the right time to reveal everything.
