Ghanaian rapper, Edem, has revealed the lengthy both himself and former Last Two stablemate, Sarkodie, have gone to support themselves throughout their careers.
In an interview on Onua Fm with Felicia Osei, the rapper born Denning Hotor noted two pivotal moments when both he and Sarkodie had to sacrifice everything to provide help to the other.
Edem narrated a moment when Sarkodie pledged to perform at his mother-in-law’s birthday party and then fell sick. Despite his condition, the rapper showed up, performed and left to recuperate.
In a similar moment, Edem recounted being in the hospital while his daughter underwent surgery for swallowing a pin, but left to perform at Sarkodie’s rapperholic concert because he had to support his brother.
Edem said throughout their careers, they helped each other in such moments, building trust and respect amongst themselves.

Both Sarkodie and Edem grew up in the Last Two stable and got their big breaks under the legendary Hammer. Sarkodie is arguably Ghana’s biggest artist of all time, while Edem has built a respectable rap career.
