With over a million spectators in 2024, the US Open is one of the most eagerly anticipated and feverishly attended sporting events in New York City. Summer may be winding down, but a flurry of tennis fans is set to descend upon the Arthur Ashe Stadium for the tournament’s most high-stakes matches.
Beyond the courts, New York City also comes alive in the spirit of the US Open, with bars, restaurants, and hotels offering themed drinks, bites, and events all across town to celebrate the occasion. From ping-pong matches to inventive riffs on the Honey Deuce cocktail (the tournament’s official drink), there are plenty of ways to join in. Ahead, your download on all the happenings starting now and extending through the men’s singles final on September 7.
