Build a Paradise in Everdream Village
Mooneaters, Untold Tales, and VARSAV Game Studio have released a demo for Everdream Village as part of the Steam Next Fest. The game invites players to build and cultivate their own living and breathing village. All while forming personal connections with villagers who will assist in maintaining their idyllic corner of paradise.
The game expands the concept of village life with exploration beyond the homestead. Players can sail to enchanted islands, each featuring unique ecosystems, resources, treasures, and adventures. The Steam demo provides roughly an hour of gameplay, giving a glimpse into what the full game offers. Highlights include 23 playable quests, including whimsical moments where players can transform into a dog to explore the village on all fours. The demo also introduces an animal breeding system, allowing players to create their own breeds and varieties of domestic animals.
Players can rebuild their homes and expand their villages, recruit their first unique NPCs, tend to multiple crops, and freely roam the expansive world. Everdream Village is a significant evolution of Everdream Valley, taking the beloved elements of the original game and enhancing them with new mechanics, a larger world, and deeper systems that strengthen the connection between players, their village, and the adorable animals they care for.
The full experience of Everdream Village will launch first on Steam Early Access in 2025. There are subsequent releases planned for PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. With its blend of exploration, nurturing gameplay, and charming world-building, the game promises to captivate fans of cozy farming adventures.
