On Oct. 16, 2025, Leapmotor unveiled the D19, a luxury flagship SUV built on the brand’s new D Platform, positioned as a “million-class” technology base. The D19 will be offered in all-electric (BEV) and range-extended (EREV) versions, with the BEV using a 115 kWh battery and a 1,000 V high-voltage architecture that the company says can add 350 km (≈217 mi) of range in 15 minutes. Peak system output is listed at 540 kW (≈724 hp), with a 0–100 km/h time in the 3-second range for the BEV and 4-second range for the EREV.

Dimensions & design

Length >5.2 m, width ~2 m, wheelbase >3.1 m (≈204.7 / 78.7 / 122 in).
Launch colors: Songu Green, Photon White, Liquid Silver, Sky-dome Gray, Metal Black.

BEV variant

115 kWh battery, up to 720 km (≈447 mi) claimed range.
1,000 V fast-charge system; 350 km top-up in 15 min (company figure).
Max power 540 kW.

EREV variant

Powertrain layout: engine + dual motors; generator can both produce electricity and drive the vehicle.
Thanks to an integrated drive-and-generation unit, the system cuts >60 kg versus conventional range-extender setups and lifts overall efficiency (~5% more combined range, per company).
Battery: 80.3 kWh; pure-electric range 500 km (≈311 mi); 40 L fuel tank serves as auxiliary backup.
800 V fast charging.
Standard CATL “Ultra-Hybrid System Battery,” which the company bills as a world first to place LFP and NCM chemistries in the same cell.
System output also quoted at 540 kW.

Compute, driver assistance & dynamics

First to launch with dual Qualcomm 8797 chips; claimed up to 1,280 TOPS AI compute, enabling on-device cabin large models and a VLA world model for assisted driving.
LMC 2.0 chassis motion-fusion control adds one-touch leveling, motion-sickness mitigation, “compass” tight-turn function, 120 km/h dual-tire blowout stability, and dynamic steering assist.
Lighting & cabin
1-megapixel DLP projection headlights, ADB adaptive high beam; rear light bar measures 1,958 mm with 11,025 LEDs.
Interior highlights include a 60-inch AR-HUD, 120° zero-gravity posture seats, and Nappa full-grain leather.
A large front trunk is also planned.

Availability
Pricing and market on-sale timing were not disclosed at the reveal. Figures above are manufacturer claims and may vary by market or certification cycle.
