The Onigbope of Igbope Land, Oba Dr. Moses Olawale Oyetola, has expressed his profound gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde and his deputy, Barrister Bayo Lawal, over the approval of the Igbope-Kisi Road project.
This is coming following the approval for the reconstruction of the road and moving of the equipment to the site by the contractors.
In a statement, Oba Oyetola praised the governor and his deputy for their commitment to improving the infrastructure in the region, noting that the road project is a long-awaited development that will greatly benefit the people of Igbope and surrounding communities.
“We are thrilled to hear that the Igbope-Kisi Road project has been approved and the contractor is moving equipment to the site. We appreciate the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde and his deputy, Barrister Bayo Lawal, for their commitment to improving the lives of our people,” Oba Oyetola said.
The Igbope Descendants Home and Abroad has also expressed its appreciation to Governor Makinde and his deputy, Barrister Bayal Lawal, for the approval of the road project.
According to reports, the contractor has begun mobilization to the site, with equipment already being moved in preparation for the commencement of work.
“The approval of the Igbope-Kisi Road project is a significant milestone for our community, and we are grateful to Governor Makinde and his team for making it happen,” said a spokesperson for the Igbope Descendants Home and Abroad.
The road project is expected to improve connectivity, boost economic activities, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents in the area.
Governor Makinde’s administration has been praised for its efforts to improve infrastructure in Oyo State, with several road projects currently underway across the state.
