Super Eagles and Fulham winger Samuel Chukwueze was heavily involved as his side secured all three points against Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspur in London, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 26-year-old was given his first start for the Cottagers by Marco Silva, and he made it count, terrorising Tottenham’s defenders down the left-hand side.
The Milan loanee dazzled down the left side, and a miscued pass from the fleet-footed winger found Kenny Tete on the edge of the box.
The Dutchman drilled a low shot that deflected off Destiny Udogie into Gugliemo Vicario’s goal to open the scoring inside four minutes.

Two and a half minutes later, Harry Wilson scored the game’s second after Vicario came out of his 18-yard box before he was dispossessed.

The ball fell kindly to Joshua King, who then laid the pass to the Welshman. Without wasting time, the 28-year-old played the ball into an empty goal from over 30 yards out.

Pretty cool.

Five minutes later, Samuel Chukwueze came close to opening his Fulham goalscoring account. The one-time UEFA Europa League winner’s curled shot had Vicario beaten, but his attempt was denied by the woodwork.

Chukwueze was played through on goal again a few minutes later, and he chose to go round Vicario this time, but couldn’t go past the recovery pace of Micky Van de Ven, who swooped in to steal the ball just in time.

Mohammed Kudus pulled one back for the home side just before the hour mark. A floated pass from Lucas Bergvall found the Ghanaian in space on the edge of the box, and he belted a well-struck volley into Bernd Leno’s post, an early contender for the goal of the season award.
Fulham’s coach, Marco Silva, opted to take Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze off as the game got into its closing stages, bringing on Kevin and Timothy Castagne as the Cottagers held on for consecutive victories for the first time this season.

Fulham are now 15th in the English Premier League with 17 points from 13 games, and they’re slowly getting into good form after a poor start to the 2025/2026 campaign.
