Morocco’s Userguest secures $2.4 million Seed round to bolster its sales team

Morocco-based SaaS provider Userguest has secured a $2.4 million Seed round to bolster its sales team, allowing the company to further penetrate key markets and solidify its position as a market leader and direct revenue optimiser.

The funding was led by Al Mada Ventures with the participation of other investors such as CDG Invest, Saviu Ventures, UM6P Ventures, Kalys VC, Plug & Play, and esteemed business angels Philippe Limes and Thane Kuhlman.

“This investment underscores our investors’ confidence in our vision to create an automated tool that optimises conversions and revenue for hotels. Having solidified our market presence and earned the trust of leading hotel brands, we are now ready to elevate Userguest to new heights, enhancing hotel performance while enriching the user experience, benefiting both hoteliers and travellers alike,” said Userguest co-founder Hicham Benyebdri.

Founded in 2018 by Hicham Benyebdri, Assil Bernossi, and Ahmed Chami, USERGUEST is a travel tech company that strives to empower hotels to be less dependent on OTAs, helping to close the gap between revenue managers and marketers.

After identifying that most hotels seek to increase their unmediated revenue stream, the founders set out to develop a tool that would boost direct bookings. They developed a SaaS solution that leverages data to maximize hotel website revenue and improve customer experience.

The solution uses smart algorithms to display personalized notifications to each website user, prompting them at crucial points in the booking process to complete their reservation. The tool is compatible with all booking engines, which makes its integration and implementation easy and flawless for each hotel.

Through RevMarketing Automation, the tool automatically matches the hotel’s needs and objectives to those of the visitor and their intentions.

“We are thrilled to lead this investment round,” said Yassine Soual from Al Mada Ventures. “Userguest’s impressive trajectory, commitment to innovation, and focus on customer satisfaction position it as a standout player in the hospitality tech space. We are confident that this funding will accelerate Userguest’s growth and enable it to continue delivering exceptional value.”
