Diptyque Rose Roche Eau de Parfum

I have a few rose perfumes that I consider to be my personal favorite fragrances of all time, and Diptyque’s latest has just joined the list. It’s not too sweet—which can veer grandma-ish or kiddish—and has an interesting smokiness by way of patchouli. If you’re looking for a winter-ready rose, search no further. —Ariana Yaptangco, senior beauty editor

Lake & Skye 11 11 Vanilla Eau de Parfum

Lake & Skye’s latest take on their vanilla perfume is their yummiest—and coziest—yet. With notes of vanilla crème, marshmallow, fresh star apple, sea salt, and their signature musk, one spritz perfectly captures the feeling of waking up to fresh cup of hot cocoa while still warm and cozy in bed. It’s everything I love about the coziest time of year wrapped up in such a delicious scent I wish I could eat it for dessert. —Danielle Sinay, associate beauty editor

Glossier You Rêve Eau de Parfum

Glossier You is a perfect fragrance…or that’s what I thought until I smelled Glossier You Rêve. Rêve builds on You’s subtle sweet and earthy notes, adding in plum butter, sandalwood and buttercream. The result is a musky and addictive scent perfect for wintertime. —Channing Smith, designer

Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum Intense

Just in time for brisk nights and campfires comes Burberry’s Goddess Eau de Parfum Intense, which builds upon the trio of vanillas in the original scent along with lavender essence. It also adds a fourth vanilla—vanilla wood—as well as patchouli to give you a woodsy scent that’s balanced by the femininity of a distinct vanilla. It’s a mesmerizing blend, and perfect as you transition your fragrances from fall to winter. —Jessica Radloff, senior West Coast editor

Phlur Somebody Wood Eau de Parfum

After using modern fragrance brand Phlur’s body wash for six months, I took the plunge and ordered a bottle of the brand’s eau de parfum in the same scent, Somebody Wood. As the name infers, it’s an intimate, wintry scent with notes of saffron, cyclamen, sandalwood, moss, vanilla musk, and cedar. Unlike other scents that bill themselves as woodsy, this one is surprisingly subtle. You won’t know I’m approaching from 12 feet away (the only beauty faux pas I subscribe to), and it doesn’t leave a haze of thick musk in its wake. Phlur’s formulation has a particularly lightweight effect that provides just a hint of warmth to the skin and calls to mind a cozy cabin on a cold night. —Perrie Samotin, digital director

Diptyque Bois Corsé Eau de Parfum

It’s always a good day when Diptyque drops something new and right now, I’m feeling very celebratory about the Les Essences de Diptyque collection. Inspired by elements from nature like coral and mother of pearl, each perfume tells a whole story in every spritz. I honestly love all five scents but if I had to pick just one, it would be Bois Corsé. Inspired by tree bark (it might not sound the most glamorous, but trust me when I say that this is a very expensive-smelling take on bark), it’s rich, smooth, and exactly what I want to smell like this time of year. Take the creamiest sandalwood, mix it with tonka bean and black coffee, add a hint of dark chocolate (not listed in the notes but I swear I smell it), and you have Bois Corsé. I’ll be wearing this on repeat all winter long. —Sarah Y. Wu, beauty contributor

Byredo De Los Santos Eau de Parfum

De Los Santos by Byredo is unquestionably my essential winter fragrance. The spicy combination of cardamom and cinnamon transports you to a snug evening by the fireplace. The harmonious blend of creamy vanilla and smooth leather wraps you in an elegant winter coat of fragrance. Lastly, the lingering notes of smoky incense and amber infuse the perfect touch of warmth and sophistication. —Leilani Mcquay, commerce producer

Charlotte Tilbury More Sex Eau de Parfum

Want to embrace your inner femme fatale this winter? Then your search stops now, because both Glamour art director Allie Folino and I swear by Charlotte Tilbury’s super sexy—and aptly named—”More Sex” perfume for the job. With notes of velvety musk, leather accord, and sensual sandalwood, it’s warm, spicy, -and mysterious—peak dark feminine energy vibes. —D.S.
