Nevada Voters Back Trump over Harris in New RealClearPolitics Poll

There’s still time until the Presidential Election in the United States when Vice President Kamala Harris will face former President Donald Trump. Ahead of the election, a new poll suggests that the former President gained a slight advantage against Harris in one key state, Nevada.

Trump Gains Lead in Electoral College Votes
Data from RealClearPolitics’ polling tracker gives a slight lead for Trump, signaling a potential win for the former President. Per this data, Trump leads with 48.2% or 0.2 points ahead of Harris who is given 48%. The change comes after initially, the polling tracker by RealClearPolitics predicted a win for the Vice President in Nevada.

The latest change marks a major development, forecasting that Trump may score victories in six out of the seven so-called swing states. Per RealClearPolitics, Trump gained a slight lead in Pennsylvania against Harris back in September. Similarly, he was given a 0.9-point lead in Michigan.

Considering the current data and counting Nevada too, Trump is predicted to win in Michigan, Pennsylvania, as well as Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina. If this prediction turns out to be true, the only swing state where Harris may secure a win would be Wisconsin.

Keeping in mind that Nevada has 6 electoral votes, Trump may gain a significant lead in the Presidential Election. Thanks to his advantage in Nevada, the former President is forecasted to have 302 Electoral College votes, way ahead of Harris’ 236 Electoral College votes.

Not Everyone Agrees with Trump’s Lead in Nevada
In contrast to RealClearPolitics’ prediction, other experts give slight lead for Harris against Trump in Nevada. As announced by Newsweek, the expert, Nate Silver, gave a 1.5-point lead to the Vice President. Similarly, FiveThirtyEight’s data predicted that the lead by Harris in Nevada is 0.5 points.

Recently, polling by Emerson College, KLAS, and The Hill suggested a narrow lead for Harris in Nevada. Per that polling, the Vice President leads with a 48.1% vote against Trump’s 47.3%. Still, it’s important to note that this polling data estimated that 2.7% of the voters haven’t decided on who to support during the upcoming elections while 0.9% admitted they won’t support neither Trump nor Harris.

The recent polls come after recently, the leading American financial exchange and prediction market company, Kalshi, added more than 25 new political betting options on upcoming US political events. Besides the Presidential race, the operator added markets on the Senate race and other notable political events.
