Heo Nam Jun Transforms Into A Psychiatrist And Content Creator In New Drama “When The Phone Rings”

MBC’s upcoming drama “When the Phone Rings” has offered a sneak peek of Heo Nam Jun’s character!

Based on a web novel, “When the Phone Rings” depicts the romance of a couple that married for convenience as they receive a threatening phone call.

Heo Nam Jun plays Ji Sang Woo, a psychiatrist with charm, good looks, and a kind personality. He stays close to Hong Hee Joo (Chae Soo Bin), his former college classmate with whom he volunteered in sign language services. Ji Sang Woo’s presence stirs jealousy and suspicion in Hong Hee Joo’s husband Baek Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok).

As a mystery content creator with 200,000 subscribers, Sang Woo teams up with announcer Na Yu Ri (Jang Gyuri), whom he met through a broadcast program, to investigate a case they’ve been eager to solve.

New stills show Heo Nam Jun fully immersed in the role of Ji Sang Woo. In one shot, he gives someone a warm look, while in another, he’s focused on filming in front of a camera and microphone. Excitement is building for his dual role as both a doctor and content creator.
