Katy Scott, Cincinnati Woman Killed in Car Accident in Franklin County, Indiana

Kathleen ‘Katy’ Scott, 21, a Cincinnati Ohio resident has been reported dead following a gruesome car crash in Franklin County IN.

Scott died in the single-vehicle wreck that occurred Monday, October 21, 2024 at the intersection of State Road 1 and U.S. Highway 52 in Cedar Grove.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department she was driving a 2016 Buick SUV northbound on State Road 1 when she failed to stop at the intersection for an “unknown reason.”

This led to her vehicle traveling over U.S. Hwy 52, off the north side of the roadway and overturn.

The driver sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

It’s currently unclear why the Cicinnati native traveled to Indiana.

Meanwhile, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office continues to investigate the crash.
