Call of Duty fans will know that as much as the series has come a long way since its WW2 roots, there’s one thing it can never quite escape – some truly horrendous spawn points.
Whether it’s you arriving back on the battlefield and immediately finding yourself in an enemy’s crosshairs, or having your team all come back only to be taken out with a well-timed grenade, spawns have been one of the Call of Duty’s biggest frustrations over the years.
While some maps are worse offenders than others, one player has taken advantage of the map spawns on Stakeout to rack up an impressive scorestreak without even moving.

Wild Black Ops 6 clip shows spawn camping in full effect As you can see in the clip above, one savvy player has taken up residency on one of the map’s balconies and is able to rack up a whole host of kills, many of them headshots, as the enemy team arrives back.
After the original poster said “What kind of BS is this CALL OF DUTY?” one cheeky commenter responded “What do you mean!?? this is a “best play” and IT’S CALLED HAVING FUN OKAY!? WE’RE ALL HAVING SO MUCH FUN.”
Another suggested their luck isn’t quite as good. “And if that was me doing that 3 people would spawn behind me,” they said.
One said they prefer XDefiant, but Ubisoft’s CoD challenger is being shut down in the coming months.
Here’s hoping this particular spawn can get some attention with the Season 1 Reloaded update, which arrives tomorrow.
