Google has released its December Pixel feature drop with updates for the Pixel Watch, Fitbit, Gemini, Pixel 9 Pro Fold and more.

Gemini updates

Access to more apps and services in Gemini, such as a Gemini extension, and Utilities extensions now available in Canada.
With the Google Home extension, Gemini lets you control your smart home devices connected to your Google Account. This extension was previously in beta.
You can also answer your calls with the Gemini update to Call screen, and there are easy-to-tap replies.
Get live transcripts of your screened conversations between the caller and the AI agent using Automatic Call Screen.

Device Updates

Pixel 9 Pro Fold is getting Joy from Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out in the Made You Look feature. It’s also getting updates in Dual Screen in Portrait Mode.
Pixel Watch and Fitbit devices are getting enhanced Daily Readiness algorithms and new tools alongside Cardio Load and Target Load. This is available on all Pixel Watches and Fitbit smartwatches and trackers.

Feature Updates

Pixel Studio is now letting users create stickers that they can share on their Gboard keyboard via messages and social media.
Emoji Kitchen is finally available and lets users create emoji combinations in your Gboard.
Pixel Screenshots is getting some new updates.

You can now save your Circle to Searches to your Pixel Screenshots, making them easier to find.
Pixel Screenshots can also help suggest actions based on the information you’ve saved, like creating a calendar invite or getting directions.
You can also add tickets or credit cards from Pixel Screenshots to your wallet.

Safety and Security features

You can now see who’s knocking at your door with the Pixel Watch 2
A new feature called Identity Check in beta will require your fingerprint or face before you can change sensitive settings on your phone.
