We’ve seen a lot of Google Pixel 9a leaks so far, but now we’ve got the full, alledged spec sheet for the upcoming smartphone.

Android Headlines reportedly obtained the spec sheet through an unnamed wireless carrier and confirmed the details via a second unknown source (though, as with any leak, it’s important to approach things with skepticism).

We’ve got a list of the most relevant details below and you can find the full leaked spec sheet here.

Processor: Google Tensor G4.
Security: Titan M2 security processor.
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X.
Storage: 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1.
Software: Android 15 plus seven years of updates.
Dimensions: 154.7×73.3×8.9mm.
Weight: 185.9g.
Model number: GXQ96 (NA) and GTF7P (ROW).
Colours: Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, Peony.
MSRP: $499 USD, +$50 for mmWave variant.
Display: 6.285-inch Actua plastic AMOLED display, FHD+ 1080×2424 pixels, up to 120Hz with 2,700nits peak brightness.
Camera: 48-megapixel main, 13-megapixel ultrawide, 13-megapixel front camera.
Battery: 5,100mAh, 23W wired charging, 7.5W wireless charging.

Frankly, there are not many surprises in that spec list based on what we’ve already learned from prior leaks. The $499 USD price is comforting, as that’s the same as the Pixel 8a. Hopefully, that means the Pixel 9a will also cost the same in Canada — the Pixel 8a costs $679 CAD.

There’s also the note about the mmWave variant costing an extra $50 USD. However, that likely won’t matter for Canadians as mmWave isn’t really available here yet and likely we’ll only get the cheaper Sub-6 Pixel 9a variant.

Another nicety is the 5,100mAh battery, which is a sizeable increase over the Pixel 8a. I quite liked the Pixel 8a but battery life was an issue I noted with the phone, so here’s hoping the Pixel 9a’s use of Tensor G4 and the larger battery will help it last longer on a charge.

Overall, the Pixel 9a seems to be shaping up nicely and I’m definitely looking forward to the phone. I’m interested to see how it will stack up to the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro this year and whether there will be a more significant gap between the mid-range and top-line Pixels this year.
