Ragnarok Idle Adventure, the mobile adaptation of the hit MMORPG, is hitting closed beta
It’ll be available worldwide with the exception of selected regions
You can jump into it on Google Play or Apple Testflight
Fans of the online MMORPG Ragnarok Online who want to take it with them in their pocket should be excited. Because the highly-anticipated casual AFK adaptation, Ragnarok Idle Adventure, is set to head into closed beta very soon, and there’s still time to hop in!
Reimagining the original MMO as a more casual-focused idle RPG, Ragnarok Idle Adventure features what the developers refer to as an easy-to-play RPG and auto-combat system. You’ll be able to complete missions and challenging dungeons in a single tap, and as you’d expect AFK rewards mean you can grow your characters and gather resources even while not playing.
The closed beta is right around the corner, tomorrow (December 19th) as of the time of writing as a matter of fact. Although rather strangely it’s not where you can play it, but where you can’t play it that developer Gravity Game Hub has chosen to specify. So if you’re in Thailand, Mainland China, Taiwan Region, Hong Kong, Macao, South Korea or Japan you’re sadly out of luck.

However, for the rest of you, there’s still time to visit the closed beta test site. Ragnarok Idle Adventure will be available both via Google Play and Apple Testflight. However don’t get too attached to your characters in this closed beta, as all progress is set to be wiped once the test period is completed.
Meanwhile, if you’re so much of a Ragnarok Online fan that one mobile release simply isn’t enough for you, then don’t fret. Check out Poring Rush, which sees the cutesy early enemies turned into adorable mascots with plenty of match-three gameplay to enjoy.
