From A-listers to Bachelor Nation and beyond, several celebrities were caught in conflict this year — and it wasn’t always pretty.
2024 was full of feuds in the reality TV realm, with Dancing With the Stars pro Sasha Farber, finding himself in the middle of Jenn Tran and Devin Strader’s breakup aftermath as Farber and Tran took the ballroom for season 33 of the ABC show and spared dating rumors of their own.
After Strader called Farber’s moniker “a girls [sic] name,” the Russian dancer took to his Instagram Story to explain the origin. “The name Sasha is short for Alexander,” Farber wrote in November. “You know who else had the same name, Alexander the Great!!! FYI 😂.”
While some memorable feuds have blown over (like The Real Housewives of New York City’s Sai de Silva and costar Jessel Taank’s husband, Pavit Randhawa), other stars are still facing the music.

Speaking of music, when Zach Bryan announced in October that he and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia had split, she put him on blast — and had Dave Portnoy’s stamp of approval. In November, the Barstool Sports personality dropped a diss track about Bryan titled “Smallest Man.” In his verse, Portnoy called Bryan “ugly” and referenced the singer’s “s—ty tats.”

Bachelor Nation’s Nick Viall vs. Clare Crawley
The tension between Viall and Crawley began when he and his wife, Natalie Joy, brought up the former Bachelorette’s name while recapping Maria Georgas’ stint on season 28 of The Bachelor. “I also heard from some friends of ours who are close to the source that filming with [Maria] was close to filming with Clare Crawley,” Joy alleged on a May episode of the “Viall Files” podcast.
Hours later, Crawley seemingly fired back with a quote appearing to point at their claim. Later, while responding to a fan’s Instagram DM supporting Crawley, she wrote, “I can only pray these people raise a child that is capable of being difficult for others in order to stay true to themselves.” (Viall and Joy welcomed daughter River in February.)

Lala Kent vs. ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast
While initially siding with Ariana Madix in the aftermath of Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Leviss, Kent flipped her position when Madix refused to film with Sandoval.
“I was biting my tongue until a producer walks in and says, ‘Lala, everything you’ve been feeling outside of filming this show, the fourth wall that we’ve been [keeping] tight — break it,’” Kent recalled on the “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast in June. “I think I’d be lying if I said I gave no s—s this season, because I feel like what I was saying was just so clear as day. But no one else saw it that way.”
Kent issued an apology to fans after coming under fire on social media, but continued to critique Madix. The division of the cast subsequently led to Bravo to revamp the show with a new cast for season 12.

Bachelor Nation’s Devin Strader vs. Dancing With the Stars’ Sasha Farber and Jenn Tran
Amid romance rumors between Farber and Tran, Strader returned to Instagram to throw shade at the DWTS pro. After a user replied to Strader’s Instagram post saying, “Jenn found a great guy his name is Sasha,” he wrote, “That’s a girls [sic] name.”
While calling Farber “literally half the man I am,” Strader addressed a user who claimed Tran “did some real charity work dating you.” Strader replied, “I’m a fan of helping the less fortunate as well.”
After receiving support from fellow DWTS pro Ezra Sosa, Farber clapped back in his own Instagram Story to note he shares the same name as Alexander the Great.

The Real Housewives of New York’s Sai de Silva vs. Pavit Randhawa
The feud between de Silva and Randhawa began over a Finding Nemo character. In the season 15 premiere of the Bravo show, Brynn Whitfield revealed that de Silva called Randhawa a “Dory from Finding Nemo lookalike.”
While de Silva took to social media to clarify her remark, Randhawa addressed the drama in an October Instagram video of his “top 3 favorite cheap eats fish dishes.” While holding a figurine of Dory, Randhawa quipped, “I don’t have to resort as low as some people do in calling others names but in honor of my kids’ favorite movie, Finding Nemo, join Dory and I as we explore three of my favorite fish dishes across New York City.”

Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia and Dave Portnoy vs. Zach Bryan
Portnoy quickly came to LaPaglia’s defense following her messy split from Bryan by releasing a diss track.
“Country singing boss baby, get that boy a snack / Throw another temper tantrum, it’s time for a nap,” Portnoy sang, noting that Bryan’s “head looks like a Lego” and he has hair “like Homer Simpson.”

Dancing With the Stars’ Anna Delvey vs. Maks Chmerkovskiy
While Delvey’s casting on season 33 of DWTS caused quite a stir, Chmerkovskiy made headlines for slamming the convicted felon.
“To me, [Delvey’s] job was a professional liar. You’re gonna bring that person [on stage] and say, ‘Here’s a platform that a lot of people waited their entire actual career to be a part of,’ to also get a moment of a personal story [where they] can say, ‘This is who I actually am.’ Will I believe anything this lady says? Absolutely not,” Chmerkovskiy said on the “TMZ Podcast” in September, calling Delvey a “sh—y dancer.”
Delvey’s friend Kelly Cutrone later slammed Chmerkovskiy for his remark, writing via her Instagram Story, “Dance yourself into a new reality.”

Taylor Frankie Paul vs. The ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Cast
Frankie Paul ruffled feathers when she called out her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives costars on their alleged lack of support at her CMAs appearance in November. When Frankie Paul said it was “awkward” that “not a single one” of her Momtok friends addressed her social media post from the awards show, costar Jessi Ngatikaura fired back.
“Repost the cma’s TikTok of you ✔️. Post you on my story ✔️. Text you all day to congratulate and hype you up ✔️. Like this post ✔️. Free clip ins for filming and events like this ✔️. Free hair for your mom ✔️,” Ngatikaura commented. “S— I forgot to comment even though I’m on vacation with my family and trying not to scroll too much 🤭 I’m the worst friend!! Forgive me queen Taylor, I’ll bow down now.”
Demi Engemann also hit back with a series of cryptic quotes via her Instagram Story, which Frankie Paul called “interesting” and claimed her costar allegedly previously said, “I feel like you don’t really support me on social media.”

Bachelor Nation’s Kaitlyn Bristowe vs. Tayshia Adams Over Zac Clark
While Bristowe didn’t mention Adams nor Clark by name in a now-viral interview, Bachelor Nation was quick to sleuth out who she was seemingly referring to when making a wild remark about dating a friend’s ex. (Bristowe was spotted cozying up to Adams’ ex-fiancé Clark at a New Year’s Eve party and multiple times since.)
“I went on a date with somebody from the franchise and I reached out to the girl that he used to be with. [She and I] hadn’t talked in months, and, no, we’re not [friends]. We probably look like friends on the outside, but we’re not,” Bristowe said on the “U, Up?” podcast in August. “Thinking it would be the situation where they’d go, ‘Well, I mean, I don’t love it, but of course I’m not going to say [no].’ It was not. I wasn’t saying, ‘If this is a problem, then I won’t.’ I was just giving a heads-up.”
Bristowe said she reached out to the unnamed woman. “I [wrote], ‘Hey, so-and-so DM’ed me and we’ve been chatting. I know you’re really happy in a relationship, so I don’t know [if] this would bother you or not,’” she continued. “She called and was very upset. She said, ‘I always knew you were a bad person and you’ve confirmed it. Your true colors are showing.’ Then, I hung up and [thought], ‘Now, I just want to send her a picture of me sucking his d–k.’”
After receiving backlash for the comment, Bristowe apologized and noted, “My sense of humor isn’t for everyone.” Shortly after, fans thought Adams threw shade at Bristowe when lipsyncing to Nicki Minaj’s viral audio via TikTok: “I never found you funny. I never found you entertaining, I never found you smart. I just found you annoying.” In a since-deleted comment, Adams clarified that she was “getting hyped” for Minaj’s concert, adding, “Y’all know I don’t play in the mud.”

Blac Chyna’s Mom vs. Khloé Kardashian
It all started when Tokyo Toni took to Instagram in November to share what she was “cooking for the homeless” for Thanksgiving. The same day, the Kardashians star shared a series of pictures from her own holiday, which featured a lavish dining room table set-up. In the comments section of Kardashian’s post, a user pointed out the differences between the reality star and Toni’s days.
“‘Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven,’ Matthew 6:1-4. Just because we don’t post about it, doesn’t mean we aren’t doing it my love. Sending you love and blessings,” Kardashian wrote.
She continued, “and I am not knocking what anyone else chooses to show or keep to themselves. But personally, when people fall on hard times — I don’t feel it’s right to publicize that for my own personal pat on the back. Highlighting a charity or an organization that may need some awareness is one thing, but I don’t feel comfortable highlighting people when they’re at a low point in their lives. To each their own, I’m only speaking for myself.”
Days later, Toni uploaded a screenshot of the exchange and threatened to be “snitching on your ass.”
“Dear Khloé, I’m the one who gave my daughter the papers that your mother tried to swipe our grandchild out of everything she could and ever owned. I’m the one who did it,” she said via Instagram. “Let’s not forget the time you brought the old homeless man to your house, girl. Was that a movement? But it sounds like you said you don’t do that. You put him on TV too. Bitch you are a homeless case.” Us reached out to reps for Khloé and Kris at the time.

Dave Grohl vs. Taylor Swift
While joking that he didn’t want to “suffer the wrath” of Swift, Grohl came for the pop star while comparing his run of shows to her record-breaking Eras Tour. He claimed that his band has errors “because [they] actually play live.”
“What? [I’m] just saying. We’re a live band. You guys like live rock ’n’ roll music, right?” he said, adding that the audience “came to the right f—king place.” Us Weekly reached out to both Grohl and Swift’s reps at the time.
The following day, Swift gave a shout-out to “every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much. And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”

Bill Belichick’s Girlfriend Jordon Hudson vs. Winnie Akoury
Belichick’s relationship with Hudson has been making headlines for their 48-year age gap, and Kiss 108 FM’s Akoury further stirred the pot by making comments about Bridgewater State’s division three cheerleading program. (Hudson was a cheerleader while she attended Bridgewater State from 2019 to 2022.)
After Akoury claimed she “could have been a Bridgewater State cheerleader,” Hudson went on to call out the remark by sharing a picture of her cheerleading championship ring.
“And, since you are SO confident that you could make the team, (as you stated LIVE on the air (twice)); I’d love for you to bring a @Kiss108 camera crew to film your undeniable domination of our pathetic little DIII cheerleading program. 🤗,” Hudson wrote via Instagram in October. “P.S. @InWinniesWorld @Kiss108, Kiss my…. National Championship Ring💍🤭.”

Matty Healy vs. Azealia Banks
The 1975 band member and Banks began feuding after she criticized Charli XCX’s appearance and he fired back on X. The exchange took a turn when Banks wrote that Healy’s fiancée, Gabbriette Bechtel, looks “like Frankenstein.” He replied in a since-deleted message, per multiple outlets, “I’ll f—ing slap you so hard I’ll get a Guinness world record for the highest a rat some b—h calls a wig has ever flown.”
Healy went on to apologize for actions, but Banks wasn’t impressed. “The point of it all …. that really makes it a non apology… was Matt Healy apologizing for himself publicly, and not having enough respect to apologize to ME just as publicly,” she wrote via X. “Clearly you can understand how this situation is bring[ing] up LOADS of PTSD, and still set up to disregard any modicum of basic respect that I deserve.”
Banks later shared a copy of a cease and desist notice allegedly sent to Healy from her legal team. In the letter, she requested a public apology from him and a $1 million settlement. While Banks’ attorney, Wallace J. Collins III, said he drafted a summons and complaint per Bank’s request, “I have usually found it beneficial for all parties to try to resolve such matters amicably without the need for court intervention.” Us reached out to Healy’s team for comment at the time.

The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge vs. Vicki Gunvalson
The feud between the Bravo personalities took a turn when Gunvalson dragged Judge’s estranged daughter, Sidney, into the mess. After Gunvalson shared her thoughts on the mother-daughter relationship on a September episode of the “My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast” Judge emotionally reacted via Instagram Story.
“You win, Vicki. I don’t know what you want from me, but you got it. You win, OK?” Judge said while sobbing. Gunvalson appeared on an episode of the “Hollywood Raw” podcast later that month and accused Judge of faking emotions. “Were there tears? There were no tears. She’s a good actress,” Gunvalson said.

Below Deck Med’s Ellie Dubaich vs. Bri Muller
Despite their initial friendship, Dubaich and Muller developed tension over Joey Bradley. As their feud escalated, Dubaich accused Muller of trying to sabotage her — and Captain Sandy Yawn nearly fired both of them.
Following backlash, Dubaich issued a statement apologizing for her behavior. “Just to sum it all up, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on my actions, and I’m actually glad I’ve had this opportunity to see myself through somebody else’s eyes,” Dubaich mentioned during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in August. “In our daily lives, sometimes we are assholes to other people but we always see it from our perspective. And maybe we feel justified because somebody did something that deserved that. But we never get to see ourselves from the other person’s perspective.”
Dubaich also directed her apology at Muller. “I realized that sometimes we are the villain in their story. And that’s who I was in Bri’s story and I truly regret that,” she continued. “I should have been professional. I should have put my emotions aside. And I should have lifted her up and made her feel stronger and find strength in herself. So I regret that.”
