Netflix has released a new thirty-second trailer teasing the 2025 returns of its three best performing series – though the footage is all from prior seasons.
“Stranger Things” is back for its fifth and final season which will consist of eight episodes with each tipped to be very long, potentially feature length.
As production ran throughout all of last year, it’s likely we won’t see it until sometime in the back half and its release format isn’t clear at present (ie. split seasons and when).
Next is “Wednesday” Season 2 which also wrapped filming last month and will likely debut in the early Fall. Luis Guzmán’s Gomez and Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Morticia are expected to have larger roles this time out.
Finally, “Squid Game” comes to an end with a third season that will wrap up where the second season cliffhanger left off. It is currently targeting a Summer or Fall release.
Though it’s seemingly the end of “Squid Game,” the franchise will likely continue with another season of the game show and David Fincher’s American version.
