Socam Development Ltd announced on 30 December that it has appointed Adrian Lo as an executive director and deputy chief executive officer of the company with effect from 1 January. Lo is currently director of corporate development for the Hong Kong-listed builder after joining Socam in 2018 as executive assistant to its chief executive. The 36-year-old is the son of Socam chairman Vincent Lo and the brother of Stephanie Lo, vice chair of Socam’s sister company, Shui On Land, which is also chaired by Vincent Lo.
Henry Liao is now investment director with DayOne, the newly rebranded international division of Chinese data centre operator GDS, according to a LinkedIn update. Liao joined the company formerly known as GDS International in November to lead and manage investment transactions across Asia and Europe, according to his profile page. Previously, Liao spent more than three years with Flow Digital Infrastructure, the data centre division of private equity firm PAG.
China’s Landsea Green Management Ltd notified the Hong Kong stock exchange on 31 December that its chairman, Tian Ming (pictured) has resigned from the board and ceased to hold his leadership position with the company from that date. Tian continues to chair the property management firm’s parent company, Landsea Green Group, with Zhou Kunpeng having been appointed as executive director and chairman of Landsea Green Management with effect from the same day.
Central China Real Estate informed the Hong Kong bourse on 31 December that it has named Yang Feifei as an executive director on its board, with the appointment of the female leader bringing the mainland developer back into compliance with the stock exchange’s requirements with regard to board diversity. Now 41, Yang joined Central China in 2017 and has served since November of 2023 as vice president and general manager of the company’s financial management center.
Ken Chew has been promoted to chief executive officer of IWC Management in Singapore, according to a LinkedIn update. Chew took the helm of the local financial manager last month as it rebranded from its former identity as Xin Fund Management after previously spending more than one year as deputy CEO. The University of Tokyo graduate also has previous experience with Sasseur Asset Management, Fosun Group and CapitaLand.
Tiffany Lau has joined Hongkong Land Ltd as senior principal for strategic placemaking, according to a LinkedIn update. Stepping into her new role this month, Lau is leading development and implementation of placemaking and placekeeping strategies for the public areas of Hongkong Land’s central commercial portfolio, which includes Exchange Square, Jardine House, the Landmark and other well-known towers.
Manila-based data centre operator YCO Cloud announced last month that it has appointed Min Thura Aung as chief development officer to drive development of the company’s hyperscale strategy. Min has more than 20 years of experience in data centres, including having served most recently as director for data centres in the Philippine market for property consultancy JLL.
Tony Kwok has signed up with CTPark Network in Shanghai as China director with the European business park builder, according to a LinkedIn update. In his new role Kwok is tasked with cross-border business development in Greater China for the Amsterdam-based company. He takes on the role with the company better known as CTP after two years as director of business development for Aussie investment manager Arrow Capital Partners and also has previous experience with Unified Industrial and Colliers.
