Deals: Xbox Is Hosting A Huge ‘Buy One, Get Two Free’ Indie Sale Right Now

Some good deals, some not so much

Multiple Xbox Store promotions have gone live today, as usual for a Tuesday, and we reckon the pick of the bunch this week is the team’s ‘Buy 1, Get 2 Free’ indie game sale we’re seeing on our consoles right now.

Don’t get us wrong, not everything in this promotion is a particularly good deal, but we are seeing some solid options here – particularly if you stick to more recent indie titles around the £15 / $20 mark or so. As the name suggests, if you pick three games from this list you’ll only pay for the most expensive title of the bunch – the other two will be totally free.

Options like Untitled Goose Game, Braid Anniversary Edition and Loot River seem decent to us based on past sale prices, but it’s probably best to avoid titles like The Sinking City at $45. That’s been as cheap as $5 in recent promotions!

As for Microsoft’s other digital deals going on right now, we have a Publisher Spotlight sale and an EA Sports promo alongside Xbox’s usual batch of Game Pass member deals. None of these are particularly extensive after recent end-of-year sales, but they’re always worth a browse on console to see if there’s anything you fancy.

Any Xbox indies you might grab in this new promotion? Tell us what you’ve got your eye on down in the comments!
