Shroodle and Grafaiai will make their debuts
Ho-Oh’s Raid Day will take place on January 19th
Get ready to face Team Go Rocket as they make their way into Pokémon GO during the upcoming Fashion Week: Taken Over. It begins on January 15th and will be available until the 19th, giving you the chance to take on Giovanni and rescue Shadow Palkia. On top of that, you can get your hands on Shadow Ho-Oh as well from the Shadow Raid Day event on the 19th.
Pokémon Go’s Fashion Week features the debut of two new Pokémon – Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. You can hatch Shroodle from 12 km Eggs. Be prepared to see Team Go Rocket at PokéStops and in balloons more often, giving you plenty of opportunities to use a Charged TM to help your Shadow Pokémon forget the Frustration move.
Shadow Pokémon are back with new additions, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. If you’re lucky, some of these rescues might even be Shiny Pokémon. These Shadow Pokémon can be battled through various Shadow Raids. For the first time, you can use Remote Raid Passes to join in on these raids, even from afar.
The special research task will guide you to a Super Rocket Radar, leading to a face-off with Giovanni to save Shadow Palkia. In addition, the event also includes Field Research tasks, offering rewards such as Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Completing a special Collection Challenge will reward you with Stardust and an encounter with Trubbish.
Before you go on, be sure to redeem these Pokémon Go codes!
On Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, you can participate in Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day. This event offers extra Raid Passes and a higher chance of encountering Shiny Ho-Oh. Plus, Ho-Oh caught during this time can learn the powerful Charged Attack Sacred Fire. You can also purchase an event ticket for $5 to get numerous extra rewards.
