This year, G.V. Prakash has two films he has produced that are set for theatrical release. Recently, the teaser of the film ‘Kingston,’ in which G.V. Prakash plays the lead role, garnered attention. Interestingly, this project has also been produced by G.V. Prakash himself. Additionally, he is producing another film titled ‘Mental Manadhil,’ directed by Selvaraghavan.
In a recent interview with Vikatan, G.V. Prakash shared his thoughts on stepping into the role of a producer. He elaborated, “During the movie ‘Madhayanai Koottam,’ my name was on the banner, but I wasn’t the producer. The actual producers were my father and another individual. Now, for the first time, my name will officially appear as a producer with ‘Kingston’ and ‘Mental Manadhil.’ This year marks my debut as a producer. However, I’m not undertaking this role with the intent of merely making money. I have taken up these projects with a lot of enthusiasm, and only time will reveal what message these films deliver to the audience and nature.”
During this conversation, G.V.’s daughter, Anvi, made an adorable cameo in the video. From upstairs, Anvi sweetly called out, “Appa, where are you?” to which G.V. replied, “I’m here.” Anvi then responded, “Okay, I’ll come there,” ran to him, and hugged him tightly. This heartwarming moment has gone viral on social media, capturing the attention of fans.
