Galaxy A56 to launch in Malaysia soon?

We have barely gotten over the excitement of the Galaxy S25 series, but it seems like Samsung isn’t resting its laurels entirely on its flagship because it is set to launch the Galaxy A56 mid-range very soon.

Spotted by Lowyat.NET on the SIRIM database, the Galaxy A56 has been registered on 24 January 2025 with the model number SM-A566B/DS, the Galaxy A55 uses the model number SM-A556B/DS, hence it is an obvious model number advance of its successor.

Although there are no teasers for now, we can assume that Samsung will be making some slight design changes to the Galaxy A56 by probably making it slimmer and lighter just like the Galaxy S25 series, it will still come with a large 5000mAh battery with fast wired charging, an Exynos chip should power the device, while we don’t expect much changes on the camera system.
