Black Country, New Road Announce Tour and New Album Forever Howlong, Share New Song: Watch the Video

Black Country, New Road have announced a new album, Forever Howlong—their first studio LP since singer Isaac Wood left the group in 2022. The follow-up to Ants From Up There and 2023’s Live at Bush Hall arrives April 4 on Ninja Tune, and you can hear a song from it, “Besties,” below. That song, which comes with a Rianne White–directed video, is the first of their studio recordings to feature lead vocals from Georgia Ellery—one half of Jockstrap and a longtime co-vocalist at Black Country, New Road live shows. The band has also announced tour dates—including a stop at Pitchfork Music Festival CDMX—that you can see below.

Forever Howlong was produced by Arctic Monkeys and Fontaines D.C. collaborator James Ford. Ellery shares lead vocals across the LP with Tyler Hyde and May Kershaw. Said Ellery in press materials, “It created a real through line for the album, having three girls singing. It’s definitely very different to Ants From Up There, because of the female perspective—and the music we’ve made also compliments that.”
