Marvel, Universal Pictures
Today looks set to be one of the biggest weeks in trailers for the year. Things kicked off today with “Final Destination: Bloodlines,” but the real meat is coming tomorrow and Wednesday.
To that end, brief clips have arrived promoting new trailers for two of the Summer’s biggest films – Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and Universal’s “Jurassic World: Rebirth”.
Both will have 30-second spots during the Super Bowl on Sunday, but neither studio is waiting and will instead release their trailers this week beforehand.
It will start at 7am ET/4am PT on Tuesday with what is being dubbed ‘Launch coverage’ of the teaser for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” which will air during “Good Morning America”.
The clip released today shows a bunch of people in a 1960s TV setting gathered around televisions in a store, keenly anticipating something.
That will be followed on Wednesday with the first trailer for “Jurassic World: Rebirth”, the preview to arrive sometime that morning. A clip briefly shows Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey’s characters in long grass – along with some creature with a very long tale.
“Jurassic World: Rebirth” arrives in cinemas July 2nd while “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” opens July 25th
