You can now create beautiful invitations with your iPhone

Hosting a birthday party for your child or planning a high school reunion? You can do that in a simple yet intuitive way with your iPhone all thanks to Apple Invites, an app that essentially helps you create beautiful event invitations to be sent to your attendees, which you can easily track your attendees, but it does more than just that.

The Apple Invites app is supported on all iPhones running iOS 18, but attendees don’t need to use an iPhone to RSVP to an invitation, however if they happen to use one, they can contribute photos and videos to a shared album related to the event, curate a collaborative Apple Music playlist to be played in the event, save the event in their calendar and get navigation directions to the venue, which is all pretty cool.

If you use an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, the app will automatically incorporate writing tools to help craft out an invitation message and the built-in Image Playground can create virtual avatars to be used for your invites.

Love the idea? Well, you will need to be an iCloud+ subscriber in order to create event invitations, which most people should (and must) have if you have been backing up your iPhone.
