Ghanaian preacher, Prophet Ogyaba, has responded to Prophet Kofi Oduro after he criticized him over his ‘side chick’ saga. Ogyaba, unhappy with Oduro’s comments, took to social media to fire back.
In a TikTok post on February 6, 2025, Ogyaba accused Oduro of attacking him out of hatred instead of finding out the truth. He quoted Ecclesiastes 7:20 and warned that any curses directed at him would return to the sender. “Words are powerful, so don’t take them lightly. If you insult me online, I can accept that because every insult has its consequences. But if you curse me out of hatred over an issue you know nothing about, like a fool, I won’t tolerate that,” he said.
He went on to explain that the issue was about blackmail and that Oduro should get his facts right before judging him. “Kofi Oduro, this is blackmail. I took her to church, and she started taking advantage of my position. So, Mr. ‘Holy’ without sin, you can’t stand in church and wish for my miserable death. Instead, you will face that fate. Next time, don’t act like a robot. Grow with wisdom. Every curse you throw at me will return to you,” he added.
Earlier, Prophet Kofi Oduro had condemned Ogyaba’s actions during a sermon, calling them a disgrace to Christianity. He reminded pastors of their responsibility to lead people in the right way. “When you fall into adultery, you give others the chance to speak ill of God’s name. As Christians, we must avoid behaviors that bring shame and tarnish God’s reputation. Some pastors have caused people to lose respect for God’s work because of their actions,” Oduro stated.
