A (Final?) TikTok Christmas — Celebrating #HolidayMusic with Mariah Carey, WHAM!, Michael Bublé & More

TikTok launches a festive in-app experience with exclusive content for the holiday season and reveals the top Christmas songs for 2024.With Christmas just around the corner — and TikTok’s future in the U.S. uncertain — the platform invites users to search for #HolidayMusic for a festive new in-app experience. The #HolidayMusic hub offers exclusive content, profile frames, playlists, and more goodies for fans to unwrap. In addition to the holiday hub, TikTok also revealed the top Christmas tracks of 2024 on the platform.

TikTok’s #HolidayMusic hub in-app experience offers users a range of festive experiences and exclusive content, including enhanced results when searching for #HolidayMusic and #ChristmasMusic, exclusive profile frames like a Santa hat and gingerbread man, playlists of holiday tracks, and more.

Users will also have the ability to save any tracks they discover in the hub to playlists on their preferred music streaming service through the “Add to Music App” feature.TikTok’s top Christmas track this year, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” inspired over 20 million video creations on the platform to date, just narrowly beating WHAM!’s “Last Christmas,” which enjoyed over 18 million creations.

While the top five Christmas tracks this year on TikTok probably won’t surprise anyone, a number of newer holiday tracks are trending on the platform this year as well. These include Laufey’s version of “Santa Baby,” which has seen over 600k creations on TikTok, BTS’ V and Park Hyo Shin’s track “Winter Ahead,” which has seen 60k video creations and inspired a new dance trend, and Bleachers’ “Merry Christmas, Please Don’t Call,” which has seen over 30k creations.
