When Disney submitted “Agatha All Along” in the comedy categories for awards season, speculation quickly arose that the Marvel series would be renewed for a second season.
Early last month showrunner Jac Shaeffer said a second run was possible but added that: “just right now there’s nothing I can report about that”.
Now, scooper DanielRPK (via CBM) says a second season is not only in the planning stages but is very close to being given the green-light.
The first season ended with setup for Joe Locke and Kathryn Hahn to return in their new forms on a road trip to locate Tommy Maximoff who is in the body of another young man who would’ve otherwise drowned.
The question is how the pair would return and if it would at least partly involve the upcoming “VisionQuest” series from showrunner Terry Matalas. That project is said to be “the third part of a trilogy that started with WandaVision and continues in Agatha All Along”.
The scooper indicates that show will see Vision (Paul Bettany) and Ultron (James Spader) appearing in “human form at times”. The Vision show is slate to premiere in 2026, and Kerry Condon and James D’Arcy are rumored to appear as their respective characters F.R.I.D.A.Y and Jarvis in it.
