Controversial media personality Afia Schwarzenegger has made shocking allegations against the family of the late Ghanaian politician Akua Donkor, claiming they have squandered GH₵300,000 meant for her funeral arrangements and have abandoned her body at the Ridge Hospital mortuary.
In a recent TikTok video, Afia Schwar accused Akua Donkor’s relatives of misusing the funds they received, instead of ensuring a dignified burial for the former presidential candidate.

According to her, the family claims they spent a portion of the money on renovating the house where Akua Donkor’s funeral was supposed to be held, while the rest was used during her one-week remembrance ceremony.

Afia Schwar did not hold back in expressing her disappointment, describing the family as greedy and opportunistic. She lamented that because Akua Donkor left no child behind to inherit her properties, her extended family members have taken advantage of the situation for their personal gain, leaving her body unburied.

“How can you squander GH₵300,000 and still leave the body of your relative at the mortuary? This woman deserved a befitting burial, yet you wasted the money on unnecessary things!” she fumed.

She went on to plead with the general public, well-wishers, and influential figures in Ghana to step in and help give Akua Donkor a proper burial, as it appears her family has neglected their responsibilities.
