In a thrilling conclusion to the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025, Team Alter Ego (VALORANT) and Myth Avenue Gaming (Dota 2) emerged victorious, claiming the coveted Predator Shield and taking home a substantial prize of USD 65,000 each. Held in Kuala Lumpur, the sixth edition of the Predator League featured intense competition among top teams from 14 regions, showcasing the best in esports talent and teamwork.

Legendary Matches Define the Grand Finals The VALORANT Grand Finals saw Team ZOL Esports deliver a remarkable comeback, clawing back from a 5:11 deficit to level the game at 11:11 after six consecutive wins. However, Alter Ego, representing Acer Indonesia, rallied to shut down ZOL Esports’ momentum and secure their victory, earning the Predator Shield and the top prize. ZOL Esports, brought by Acer Philippines, finished as the first runner-up, earning USD 20,000, while Crest Gaming Zst and Xipto Esport claimed third place, taking home USD 7,500 each.

The Dota 2 Grand Finals featured a commanding performance by Myth Avenue Gaming, who thrilled the home crowd with a decisive 2-0 victory over Team Helios. Representing Acer Malaysia, Myth Avenue Gaming celebrated their win in front of an ecstatic audience, while Team Helios, representing Acer Indonesia, took second place and USD 20,000. Teams Ivory and 123 Gaming rounded out the podium, earning USD 7,500 each for their efforts.

Special Awards and Recognitions Adding to the excitement, the Intel Allstar Vote recognized standout players from both VALORANT and Dota 2, awarding USD 2,000 to each player in their respective roles. For VALORANT, Alter Ego dominated the Intel Allstar roster, with players like Cud, Ray4c, and gotten earning spots. In Dota 2, Team Helios swept the Intel Allstar team, with players like Cije, Azura, and Rusman leading the charge.

Two players were crowned Intel MVPs for their exceptional performances, each receiving USD 10,000:

Acer debuted two exclusive champion avatars, Nero and Yuffy, and released an animated video and the Predator “It Lies Within” theme song in local languages. Spectators were treated to electrifying performances by Sandara Park and Minzy of K-pop group 2NE1, alongside Malaysian stars Aina Abdul and Hael Husaini, and Philippine group G22.

Adding a creative flair to the event, the Coswalk Competition showcased Malaysia’s top cosplay talents, with standout portrayals of Valkia the Bloody, Thanatos, and S.I.C. Amazon Alpha earning top prizes from a RM 25,000 pool.

Looking Ahead: Predator League 2026 As the curtains closed on Predator League 2025, Acer announced that the next edition will be hosted by the Acer India office, signifying the company’s ongoing commitment to nurturing esports across the Asia Pacific region. In a ceremonial handover, Harish Kohli, President and Managing Director of Acer India, received the Predator League pennant from Kon Tek Yoong, Managing Director of Acer Malaysia.
