Currently on tour with Benson Boone
Fresh from supporting Benson Boone, Gold Coast singer-songwriter bella amor is back with brand new music, ‘rocks in my pocket’.
Written with Alice Ivy and Yorke, ‘rocks in my pocket’ is filled with lyrical quips, charismatic vocals and a mish mash of pop, alternative and indie influences. Drenched in humour, wit and charm, the single expertly encapsulates bella’s positive energy and vulnerability, providing the antidote to when the world is getting you down. In bella’s own words, “I didn’t want it to bog me down, so I turned my misery into a banger”.
bella exudes an old-soul, worldly perspective that adds a depth beyond her years to her songs of love, life, and the complexities of navigating it all as a young person. Inspired early on by big voices and warm personalities like YEBBA and Adele, bella was first drawn to music by listening to artists like these use their platform to connect with the listener on a deep, visceral level. For bella, music is a way to relate as much as it is a therapeutic vehicle for herself. If her art can be that avenue for other people to connect with her and find a sense of belonging, then bella has been successful.
Enamoring audiences every time she steps onto the stage, bella secured her “one to watch” status when she sold out her debut headline show in the Gold Coast in 2022. Since then, she has performed at BIGSOUND, Grapevine Gathering and Groovin’ The Moo, as well as support slots for King Stingray, Lime Cordiale and most recently Benson Boone on his sold out Australian tour. This evening, bella closes out her support for Benson with a performance at the Australian Open in Melbourne.
Ever since her debut single ‘can’t get laid’, bella has endeared her loyal fanbase with an unshakeable sense of self, innate confidence and genuine relatability. Threaded with attitude, spirit and charm, stay tuned for more to come from bella amor in 2025.
