The first MPV of BYD Dynasty Network – Xia, has been officially launched. BYD Xia is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized MPV, adopting the design language of Huaxia Dragon Face and featuring electric sliding doors with hidden tracks. In terms of body size, the new car measures 5145/1970/1805mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3045mm and a turning radius of only 5.7m.
The new car comes standard with DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system, equipped with BYD’s fifth-generation DM technology, consisting of a 1.5T engine and motor. The maximum power of the engine is 115kW, and the maximum power of the motor is 200kW. It offers two pure electric endurance versions: 100km and 180km. The comprehensive endurance mileage on full fuel and electricity can reach up to 1060km, with NEDC energy consumption of 5.3L per hundred kilometers.
The new car adopts a 2+2+3 three-row seven-seat layout, with the front row equipped with a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, a 12.3-inch passenger entertainment screen, and a combination of a 15.6-inch central sunroof screen, equipped with wireless charging for mobile phones, dual cup holders and storage compartments under the island console.
The car is available in 4 different configurations, all equipped with the DiPilot 100 “Eye of God” 5R12V advanced intelligent driving assistance system as standard. It can perform various intelligent driving functions such as high-speed navigation and full-scene smart parking assistance. The top-of-the-line version features a self-developed DiSound audio system with 28 speakers, 32 independent audio channels, and Hi-Fi music headrests on the seats. Additionally, the third-row subwoofer can be removed and used as an outdoor Bluetooth speaker with an output power of up to 170W.
