On January 14th, spy photos of a BYD sports car were recently exposed on the internet. The car was covered with the familiar blue camouflage stickers of Denza’s previous models. The body is low and it is expected to have a relatively small size, adopting a two-door four-seat layout.
There are reports indicating that this car was originally the production version of the Fangchengbao Super 9, but later it was assigned to the Denza brand.
The exposure also stated that the new car will be available in two versions: a hardtop version and a convertible version. The low-slung body shape paired with large wheels highlights a strong sense of sportiness, suggesting that this model may have undergone a redesign after being classified under Denza.
The disclosure indicates that the new car may be officially released at Auto Shanghai 2025 (April 25th to May 2nd), with performance that can “rival the Porsche 911”.
