The crowning achievement of this year’s celebration was the Best of Show 2024 award, which went to the exquisite 1961 Ferrari 400 Superamerica – #2841.
In its fourth edition, Cavallino Classic Middle East has firmly established itself as one of the premier international Concours of Elegance. The crowning achievement of this year’s celebration was the Best of Show 2024 award, which went to the exquisite 1961 Ferrari 400 Superamerica – #2841.
“I’m truly delighted that, in just its fourth year, Cavallino Classic Middle East has reached the level and acclaim of an international Concorso d’Eleganza.” said Luigi Orlandini, Chairman & CEO of Cavallino Inc., following the awards ceremony on Sunday, December 8, at Casa Ferrari on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. “The growth of such an event, even in countries without a deep-rooted tradition in this field, is a testament to the enduring interest and passion for automobiles—and Ferraris, in particular. The atmosphere here has been both delightful and inspiring, deserving recognition for each participant who showcased their immaculately preserved vehicles.
Symbolically, I extend my gratitude and congratulations to American collector Kevin Cogan, whose 1961 Ferrari 400 Superamerica – #2841 earned the most coveted accolade: Best of Show 2024. And now, our thoughts turn to Palm Beach, where the Cavallino Classic, founded over 30 years ago, remains the global epicenter of Ferrari passion.”
Joining Luigi Orlandini for the awards presentation were Ferrari’s Vice President of Commercial and Marketing, Enrico Galliera, and Enzo Mattioli Ferrari, a direct descendant of the legendary Enzo Ferrari. Mattioli Ferrari emphasized the cultural importance of preserving and celebrating Ferraris from 1947 to today, highlighting this by acquiring a stake in Cavallino Inc., further cementing its legacy.
In addition to the 19 vehicles that earned the coveted Platinum Award, having passed the judges’ rigorous evaluation with flying colors, numerous Class and Special Prize winners were also honored. Many of these models paid tribute to Ferrari’s 30-year history in the Middle East.
Some of the standout winners included:
