China Huaneng successfully commissions the nation’s first fully unmanned intelligent control system for gas turbine power generation at its Shanghai plant.

On December 9, China Huaneng announced that the country’s first intelligent autonomous control system for gas turbine power generation has been successfully commissioned at its Shanghai gas power plant. The system enables completely unmanned operation—from start-up and grid connection to load adjustment and shutdown—marking China’s transition from traditional manual monitoring to fully intelligent autonomous operation in thermal power.
