Cincinnati Bengals vs. Dallas Cowboys Week 14 Odds, Time, and Prediction

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Dallas Cowboys Week 14 Odds, Time, and Prediction

Both the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys have very small chances of making the postseason. The Cowboys are in a slightly better situation as they’re 5-7 and are coming back to AT&T Stadium after two straight wins, both on the road.

They’re welcoming the Bengals, who are 4-8, with four losses in the last five games. The Cowboys beat them in each of their last two meetings as well, which is what’s giving Mike McCarthy’s men confidence they can win on December 9.

So, why are the Bengals at Cowboys odds favoring the visiting team? That’s what we’re here to find out!

Reasons Why Cincinnati Bengals are 6-Point Favorites

The Cincinnati Bengals are 4-8 in the 2024 NFL season, coming to Texas after three straight losses. The last time they won a game was a month ago when they beat the Las Vegas Raiders 41:24 at home.

Since then, they lost to the Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Chargers, and Pittsburgh Steelers. Each of those teams is way better than Cincinnati’s next opponent. Plus, the Bengals put on a good fight in each of those games – they lost by no more than seven points in any of those.

However, their winless run has reduced their chances of making the 2024 NFL Playoffs. According to Athletic, they only have about a 2% probability of getting to the postseason.

Banged-Up Dallas Cowboys Doing Surprisingly Well

The Dallas Cowboys are 5-7 overall, and given that their crucial player, quarterback Dak Prescott, is out for the season with an injury. However, without him on the field, they’ve been doing surprisingly well.

In fact, the Cowboys won their last two games. First, they defeated the Washington Commanders 34:26 on the road. Then, they beat the New York Giants 27:20 at home.

Prescott’s replacement, Cooper Rush, did great in both of those games, throwing for a total of over 400 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Rico Dowdle was also great, covering over 200 yards in those two games and scoring one rushing TD.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction

The Bengals are fantastic offensive, but their defense isn’t great. That said, Cooper Rush, Rico Dowdle, and others can definitely score a couple of TDs in the MNF game. But will it be enough to get a win? We’re not sure, but we’re certain they won’t get blown out by the Bengals.

Pick: Dallas Cowboys +6
